Dickens on The Strand 2026 — VIP Waitlist

Your wristband and table handled, while everyone else hunts for a seat.

Small groups, timed waves, and your table already handled — so Dickens night feels fun, not frantic.

Only 30 near-Strand tickets with Dickens access on Saturday • Priority for this list only

What this waitlist is for

We’re building a special Pubs N’ Grubs experience for Dickens on The Strand weekend 2026 — a priority Strand-area home base instead of wandering from line to line.

Think of it as your done-for-you Dickens evening, with paired food and drink built in.

Two ways to do Dickens with us:

On the Strand — the golden ticket

Start with a drink at our meetup spot, then walk over in a timed wave to your reserved table right on the Strand. Wristband included, with real history of the building from the people who know it best. Come and go as you please, and come back to your table between wandering the festival. Saturday only, 30 spots.

The Meal

A reserved table and a full meal, no rush, no lines. Just you, good food, and good company — nowhere you need to be after.

Period cocktails. A few bites. Non-drinkers covered too.

More near-Strand options may open up as we lock in partners.

How booking will work

This page is a preliminary waitlist. It tells me how much interest there is and helps me shape the waves and packages before I turn on the official booking system.

Closer to Dickens 2026, everyone on this list will be invited to join the official FareHarbor waitlist for this experience. That FareHarbor list is what will control actual booking order.

  • First, you’re here on this preliminary list (email and basic details only).
  • Then, when we’re ready, I’ll notify you (email and/or text) with a link to join the official FareHarbor waitlist for this Dickens experience.
  • After that, I’ll send everyone on the FareHarbor waitlist a clear date and time when bookings will open (for example, “Next Thursday at 12:00 noon Central”).
  • When I turn bookings on at that time, seats will be given strictly first-come, first-served based on the FareHarbor waitlist and booking timestamps.

If a particular wave or day sells out, FareHarbor can notify people on the official waitlist about any additional times we add or spots that open up from cancellations or non-confirmed bookings.

What to expect (and what this is not)

Tickets are included for your festival admission with the package that includes Dickens access — you will not need separate Dickens on The Strand tickets from Galveston Historical Foundation for that time slot (unless you plan to attend earlier on your own).

This is your hosted food & drink experience during Dickens weekend, designed so you can actually relax, eat, and sip without wondering where you’ll sit next.

Closer to the festival, we’ll email this list with exact timing, pricing, what’s included in each package, and how our waves will move between locations.
