Groups With Smokers — We’ve Thought About This
Galveston isn’t a smoker-friendly island and most venues won’t accommodate it. If your group includes cigar or cigarette smokers — even a portion of a larger group — tell us upfront. Is this a food tour?
No. Tours are scheduled, public, and the same for everyone. What we do for corporate groups is fully custom — built around your headcount, goals, budget, and date. Some groups want one private venue for three hours. Some want four stops across the Strand. We’ve done both.
How does the process work?
You reach out — text or form. We have a quick conversation about your group, goals, and date. We send a concept, then a proposal. Nothing moves until you approve it. 50% deposit on confirmation, balance before the event.
Can you handle cruise incentive groups?
Yes — this is one of our strongest use cases. Groups arriving or departing from the Galveston cruise terminal are minutes from the Strand. We build arrival experiences, farewell dinners, and full incentive programs around your cruise schedule and headcount.
What’s the group size range?
20 to 250. Larger groups get a custom structure — multiple guides, staggered stops, private venue coordination as needed. Text us your headcount and date and we’ll tell you immediately what’s workable.
Can you accommodate groups that include smokers or cigar smokers?
Yes. Most venues on the island won’t — but we know what options exist and can build around groups that include smokers. Tell us upfront and we’ll plan for it. We also offer dedicated cigar experiences that can be woven into a larger corporate evening.
