On The New Galveston Talk a question was posed;
I instantly had visions of what the average person would say, and sure enough I saw them, but instead of feeding engagement farming, I decided to take a walk on my side of reality, how I see things; and the following is my exact post with all of its flaws and iPhone box typing & any dyslexia nuances shining through:

The CITY has a “RIGHT”
All mankind holds the inherent right, enshrined in the United States of America, to access their congressman just as kings of old granted free passage across lands to approach the throneβno tolls, no fees.
In Texas, we possess the sovereign right to unrestricted access to all public spaces, including the ocean seawall, rooted in water rights, village commons, and divine provision that no man or city can bar.
Historical AccessGrowing up, seawall parking and beach entry stood free and unhindered, reflecting God’s gift of open water and our representatives’ duty to preserve it without obstruction. No fees dared impede families’ paths to the surf, embodying timeless public easement over coastal realms.
Core ComplaintGalveston denies our birthright by charging for seawall parking, erecting modern tolls that mock sacred access to public waters. Demand removal of these barriersβrestore free parking as the natural, unalienated right of every Texan to reach the sea without hindrance.
