I’m Robert Alexander, owner of Pubs N’ Grubs Tours Galveston — an adult-only walking tour built around authentic local flavor, island rhythm, and the bars where Galveston folks actually gather. We visit 7 to 9 venues, with food served at four stops, featuring signature drinks crafted exclusively for our guests — cocktails you won’t find on any regular menu.
This isn’t your typical sightseeing tour. We embrace island time — the places where locals unwind after work or slip away during the day. Evening tours often include live band stops, and when everything aligns perfectly, we discover even more musical magic. Nothing is scripted here. This is authentic Galveston — and it’s beautifully real.

Texas Tail was once a beloved stop on our tour route, and we’re excited to spotlight their craft again. Nick and his team pour local passion into custom bottles of premium whiskey or rum for your special event, team, or brand — complete with professional label design assistance.
